About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures across a patient population spanning pediatrics to geriatrics, including HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying studies, brain death studies, and myocardial perfusion SPECT
• Conduct I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scans, I-131 ablations (under 30 mCi), renal scans with or without Lasix, and parathyroid studies
• Utilize facility systems including Epic , Pyxis , and PACS (required)
• Participate in call coverage as scheduled: Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, approximately 1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend
• Be available to float to a nearby facility location to perform STAT inpatient procedures as needed
• Work assigned major holidays per the facility holiday policy; the number of holidays expected to be worked is based on how many fall within the assignment period

• Active NMTCB certification and/or ARRT (NM) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience preferred; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems required
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to the start date; delays may result in a two-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
• All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at the time of submission; no schedule changes or RTO requests will be accepted after offer or upon arrival onsite

• Experience working with a broad patient population from pediatrics through geriatrics in a clinical nuclear medicine setting
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-modality nuclear medicine department
• Experience with STAT inpatient nuclear medicine procedures

• Weekends are generally off, with call coverage expectations that are structured and predictable
