Shift Manager - Winery

Reporting to General Manager , you’ll lead daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure every guest experiences the unique charm and quality of our winery. This role requires open availabilities and flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a faced-paced environment with shifting priorities. Key Responsibilities Work with a sense of urgency and deliver exceptional customer experiences and resolve issues promptly Ensure impeccable facility cleanliness and adherence to health protocols Manage and adhere to opening/closing procedures Foster a positive, high-performance culture Make sure every guest is delighted by the quality of our food, service, and staff Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests through excellent interpersonal skills Monitoring team performance, assigning duties, and ensuring duties are performed efficiently Reporting any issues that arise during the shift to General Manager Ensuring compliance with Winery’s policies, health, and safety standards Coaching team members and training new staff Opening and closing registers and preparing cash deposits Job Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol 3+ years in hospitality experience (required) 2+ years in shift manager/lead experience (required) Oversee the daily operations of the team during assigned shift Working knowledge of Toast POS system is a plus Proven ability to lead great shifts while directing and coaching others in a fast-paced environment Adaptable problem-solver with strong decision-making skills and time-management skills Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40lbs What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Medical, Dental, and Vision Plan / Matched IRA for full time staff Paid Vacation for full time staff Employee meal benefits Part-time or full-time positions available #J-18808-Ljbffr Michaelangelosbakery
