You will be instrumental in designing, integrating, and implementing solutions on-premise as well supporting migrations of existing workloads to the cloud. The Senior Data Engineer is expected to have extensive knowledge of modern programming languages, designing and developing data solutions.The position is open in a data engineering team that is responsible for processing payer files into our Data Warehouse.Required Qualifications4+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems2+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake etc.2+ years of experience in on-prem Data Engineering Platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.Programming and modifying code in languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark to support and implement Cloud based and on-prem data warehousing services.Hands-on experience with dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousingHands-on experience with troubleshooting data issuesHands-on experience with various performance improvement techniquesWillingness to identify and implement process improvements, and best practices as well as ability to take ownership to work within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based support environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications· Familiarity with healthcare data and healthcare insurance feeds is a plusEducation· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / EngineeringAnticipated Weekly Hours40Time TypeFull timePay Range$64,890.00 - $173,040.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.Our people fuel our future.
