$30.00 - $40.00 Hourly *Comprised of taxable hourly rate, specifically including if applicable, nontaxable (housing and M&IE) stipends converted to an hourly rate based on a 35 - 40 hour work week

Accountable School Staffing is currently interviewing Nurses (RN- ESA) for an ASAP 2026-27 school year assignment in Lakewood, WA! We are working with a district to provide a full-time School Nurse for the full school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Comprehensive Nursing Assessments
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, identify patient needs, and develop nursing diagnoses.
• Develop & Implement Care Plans
• Create individualized plans of care and adjust interventions based on patient response and clinical judgment.
• Administer Medications & Treatments
• Provide medications, therapies, and procedures consistent with RN scope under WAC 246-840.
• Coordinate Interdisciplinary Care
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and support staff to ensure integrated care.
• Delegate & Supervise Nursing Tasks
• Assign tasks to LPNs and assistive personnel while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Monitor & Evaluate Patient Outcomes
• Analyze data, document progress, and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance
• Follow WABON standards, infection control protocols, and organizational policies.
• Provide Patient & Family Education
• Teach health management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Washington State RN license in good standing (per RCW 18.79).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• ESA Certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification; additional certifications may be required depending on setting (ACLS, PALS, NRP).
• Ability to perform all functions within the RN scope of practice under WAC 246-840-700.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One or more years of RN experience in a Washington healthcare setting.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Training in trauma-informed care, de-escalation, or culturally responsive practices.
