Job Title: Direct Support Professional.
Job Summary : The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with enhancing daily living skills, supports individuals in accomplishing program outcomes, and facilitates community involvement. The wage starts at $17.00/hr.

Schedule:
Second Shift: Monday to Friday 3pm to 10pm Second location (Burnsville) Wednesday/Thursday & Friday 9:30am - 3:30pm

Duties Include:

• Must be able to follow safety practices, protocols, and directives per each individual’s
• plan and company policies to maintain the individuals’ health and safety.
• Provide assistance with daily living skills and community involvement to assist in
• furthering the individuals’ level of independence.
• Transport individuals to activities.
• Assist in hygiene and personal care including toileting.
• Complete general housekeeping (dishes, laundry, snow removal, lawn care, etc.)
• Implement and document individuals’ program outcomes.
• Apply positive behavior techniques.
• Successfully pass all required training.
• Push, pull, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to quickly respond to and react to incidents and emergencies.
• Basic computer skills (i.e.: email, timesheets, etc)
• Adhere to the rules of conduct and employment expectations as set forth in the employee handbook.
