By Your Side Occupational Therapist (OT)The BY YOUR SIDE Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create and maintain therapy plans that address sensory processing, attention, executive functioning, fine motor, gross motor, self help, ADLs, adaptive play and leisure skills.Oversight for Occupational Therapy direct services will be provided by the Manager - Speech and Occupational Therapy. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for defining goals, collecting data, establishing treatment plans, and communicating with families. Ability to implement skills obtained during trainings and adhere to the companies' goals and policies.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.This is full-time position and may be considered for a part-time position, and hours of work and days vary based on the needs of clients/businessWhy You'll Love This RoleCompetitive Pay: $79K+ Annually + Bonuses (no caps)Student Loan Repayment: up to $10KWork-Life Balance: flexible schedule with 1 remote day or 4 day work week!Generous Time Off: Over 6 weeks per year, including PTO, holidays, and wellness days.Full Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision, and even pet insurance!Incredible Perks: Like monthly + biannual bonusesCareer Growth: Structured advancement opportunities and continuing education support.Positive Culture: We value teamwork, celebrate wins, and foster a fun, inclusive environment.Job DescriptionParticipate in an initial multidisciplinary evaluation process to help evaluate new clients.Evaluate, create, and maintain a comprehensive therapy plan for each client.Provide individual and group therapy to clients focusing on a variety of areas including but not limited to: fine and gross motor, sensory processing, feeding and social skills.Interact with and educate caregivers on helpful therapy approaches and in-home strategies to facilitate generalization of skills.Provide team-based, collaborative approach for therapy planning and implementation.Maintain current Illinois license, NBCOT certification, and necessary continuing education requirements.Adhere to the ethical standards of the profession- AOTA and ILOTA guidelines and ensure HIPAA Compliance.Supervise support personnel COTAs/OTAs and interns when necessary.Other Duties and special projects as assigned.Direct Therapy ResponsibilitiesProvide a minimum of 32 hours of therapy per week.Maintain timely professional documentation of clinical notes for direct patient care provided.Completion of documentation for all pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, and progress reports.QualificationsMaster's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.State Licensed Occupational Therapist.Must complete and maintain certification in CPI training (Will train on site).CPR/First Aid Certified or will train on site.Knowledge of discipline specific assessment tools and proceduresAbility to think critically, solve problems, and deliver therapy independently.Must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong Interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member.Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute on deadlines and produce high quality deliverables with attention to details.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.IMMEDIATELY HIRING URGENTLY HIRING
