Qualifications:

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education

• Creative problem-solver who is flexible and adaptable
• Familiarity with current special education laws and best practices

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective instructional plans for students with diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress and modify teaching strategies to maximize learning outcomes
• Prepare and participate in IEP meetings, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• Work collaboratively with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
• Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials suited to the students’ abilities and interests
• Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support as outlined in IEPs
