Description – What You'll Discover

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests in various fields including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, operating within established standards.
• Ensure the accuracy of test results by analyzing findings, troubleshooting discrepancies, and conducting regular maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Provide assistance with specimen collection and prepare samples efficiently for testing.
• Document procedures meticulously, mentor newcomers, and uphold the highest standards of laboratory quality.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to necessary regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or similar allied health degree required. ASCP/AMT certification preparation is also necessary.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) needs to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout your professional journey here.
