We are dedicated to making the homes and neighborhoods in Greater Philadelphia more beautiful and enjoyable places to live. Job Overview: Candidates should possess the following core competencies: Prompt and reliable - Timeliness is crucial in caring for our perishable inventory. Attentive and thorough - Subtle differences between plant species and individual specimens are key to organization and care. Working with a sense of urgency, taking initiative, and finishing tasks completely are qualities we require in our department. Desire to learn - No prior horticultural experience is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt is key. Physical stamina - You must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions and be able to lift 65 lbs repeatedly. Nursery Labor starts at $17/hour with a seasonal, performance-based raise structure. No prior experience is necessary. Anyone with a background in hospitality, manual labor, horticulture, and landscaping are encouraged to apply. This position begins early March, marking the start of our Spring season.
