McConway & Torley is looking for a Heat Treat Operator.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Shift: Must be able to work any shift (will be steady once you start)

What you'll do:

• Verify melt numbers on parts, traveler and test bars are consistent and accurate
• Solution Heat Treat – perform start-up, operation, shut down, and quench
• Age Ovens – perform start-up, operation and shut down
• Operate gantry crane
• Drive a fork truck
• Operate a small grinder
• Perform hardness testing
• Light computer work
• Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned

What you'll need:

• 1 or more years of previous experience is preferred
• High school diploma

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds

• Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned.
