Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Eastern Bergen County

Overview Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer. This position offers hourly pay starting at $17.50 per hour based on a 25‑hour or 40‑hour work‑week. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. The role will be located at an Eastern Bergen County location. Responsibilities Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles (cars, trucks, vans) to meet high cleanliness and safety standards. Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols. Wash, clean and dry vehicle exterior, including different vehicle sizes. Check fuel level, warning lights, windshield damage, reset/restore vehicle settings, verify registration, and manage Lost & Found items. Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, tread depth, and inspect vehicle exterior for damage. Fuel and stage vehicle. Inspect for safety concerns; report warning lights and damage; pull vehicle from prep processing as necessary. Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions. Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors. Assist customers when needed, including transporting customers to and from branches. Help maintain overall site appearance; general cleaning of interior and exterior of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot, other tasks). Additional Responsibilities Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting. Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality. Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned. Qualifications Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license. Authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship for work authorization. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Residency within an hour commute of the location. Minimum six (6) consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience. Minimum 18 years of age. New Jersey DMV Requirements First‑time drivers and under 21 years old must complete the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements. Equal Opportunity Employer.
