Your Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses either in partnership with physicians or autonomously (as per credentialing)
• Providing education to patients and families regarding preventive care, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your professional scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, holistic care
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic health records (EHR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certification Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
