We are seeking an Entry-Level to Experienced candidate to become an integral part of our engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's world-class engineering and manufacturing facility.This is a full-time position with a full benefit package listed below that includes opportunities for professional growth, direct hire by our customers, and additional opportunities within our own organization.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Production and Engineering teams to investigate supplier and operational quality issues and ensure the issues to be well defined and communicated to the cross-functional team.Assess the impact of the issues and work with cross-functional teams to liaison a path forward to disposition in order to mitigate production line downtime risk.Manage the coordination and disposition of the nonconformance through Process Change Notifications or Deviations.Help root cause analysis and provide fact & data-based information to concerned parties for problem solving.Manage deviation and process change requests. Support NPI projectsRequirementsBachelor's of Science in Engineering or Industrial Technology.Applicable quality, industrial or manufacturing engineering experience.Demonstrates a strong mechanical aptitude through work experience or hobbies.Problem solving skills and attention to detail.Familiar with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies.Must be a self-starter, good communication skills, able to thrive in a collaborative environment.Ability and desire to work 3rd shift.Desired AttributesUnderstanding of quality systems/tools, including APQP processStrengths in facilitation, documentation and leadershipExperience with GD&T and modeling softwareProject management experienceAbility to lead without authorityAbility to convey topics at both a technical and high level effectivelyPrevious experience in a manufacturing or assembly environmentWelding, fabrication, sheetmetal, hydraulic, electrical and/or paint experience is a plusPay Range: $60,000-$80,000 – Commensurate with experienceVisa sponsorship is not available for this position.RFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
