Position: Physician, Primary Care Provider, Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT), VM-0602. One full time permanent position located in Ambulatory Care, Fort Harrison, MT at the VA Montana Health Care System. Hours of work: Monday through Friday with a few weekend rotations throughout the year. Seeking full-time board certified (preferred) Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician for Ambulatory Care. The incumbent will deliver services to veterans presenting for health care. Duties will include day-to-day care of veteran patients presenting with ambulatory/primary care appointments. This position may include participation in the provision of telemedicine care to outlying communities as well as occasional travel to other VA clinics within Montana to provide clinical coverage. Key requirements:

• Must pass pre-employment examination.
• Designated and/or Random Drug Testing required.
• Background and/or Security Investigation required.

Required skills: Qualifications required: a. Citizenship. Citizen of the United States. b. Education. Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. c. Licensure and Registration. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. The physician must maintain current registration in the State of licensure if this is a requirement for continuing active, current licensure. The facility Director may waive this licensure requirement if the physician is to serve in a country other than the United States and the physician has licensure in that country. Education. APPLICANTS PLEASE NOTE: Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications (particularly positions with a positive education requirement.)
