Modem Integration & Test Engineer (Automation + AI/ML)

Role Overview As an RFSW Integration & Test Engineer, you will contribute to the integration, validation, and testing of RF software on modem platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure feature correctness, stability, and quality of RF systems in 5G/6G devices. Key Responsibilities Execute integration and validation of RF software features (e.g., FR1/FR2, uplink/downlink scenarios) under guidance. Develop and execute test cases for functional, regression, and system-level validation. Support RF hardware and software bring-up activities for new platforms and features. Debug and troubleshoot RF test and calibration issues, with support from senior engineers. Analyze logs, test results, and failures to assist in root cause identification. Validate RF software releases and report issues using standard tracking tools. Assist in building and maintaining automation scripts and test frameworks. Participate in setup and maintenance of RF test lab environments and equipment. Collaborate with RF, Modem SW, and system test teams to track and resolve issues. Document test results, issues, and learnings clearly. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field. 0–3 years of experience in RF testing, embedded systems, or software validation (preferred). Preferred Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Basic understanding of RF fundamentals (TX/RX chains, calibration concepts) and wireless technologies (LTE, 5G NR). Familiarity with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meters) and base station simulators (e.g., CMW500). Exposure to debugging in embedded or system-level environments. Software, Automation & AI/ML Skills Basic programming/scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar. Exposure to test automation concepts or frameworks. Familiarity with Linux/Android environments. Interest or exposure to data analysis and log processing. Awareness of AI/ML concepts or tools (e.g., using AI-assisted debugging or automation tools). Willingness to learn and apply automation and AI techniques to improve test efficiency. Professional Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset. Willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced engineering environment. Good communication and collaboration skills. Attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes. Pay Range and Other Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $89,000.00 - $133,600.00. Plus a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and annual RSU grants (employees on sales‑incentive plans are not eligible for the annual bonus).
