Arc Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a 6-month outpatient Primary Care assignment at the Bath VA Medical Center in Upstate New York .

If you're looking for a locum assignment without nights, weekends, call, or federal holidays, this opportunity offers a highly predictable schedule and an average patient volume of approximately 13 patients per day .

You'll provide outpatient Primary Care to Veterans while working alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient Primary Care, including:

• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions
• Annual wellness and preventive care visits
• Management of diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease, and other chronic conditions
• Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Coordinating care with specialists and ancillary services
• Patient education and counseling
• Documentation within the VA electronic medical record (CPRS)

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or U.S. territory
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain VA credentialing and security clearance
