Job Brief Opening: 1 Pay Range: CENTRAL SUPPLY TECH I - $21.28 to $28.72 Central Supply Tech I The Central Supply Technician is responsible for issuing all supplies as requested, completing the appropriate data entry for issues and returns, and delivering medical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital. The technician maintains set par‑levels at various inventory locations. Licensure And Certification Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) Certification preferred. Education Minimum High School graduate or GED equivalent. Experience 1 year of Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistical, Material Management experience. Knowledge And Skills Customer service skills. Effective communication skills. Problem solving skills. PC and printer proficiency. Meditech experience a plus. Physical Demands – Clerical/Administrative Non‑Patient Care Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and position changes. Continuous use of bilateral upper extremities for fine motor activities. Occasional/intermittent reaching at or above shoulder level. Occasional/intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, twisting, and climbing. Occasional/intermittent lifting and carrying weighing up to 25 pounds. Continuous use of near vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills in handling telephone calls and interacting with customers and co‑workers. Key for Physical Demands: Continuous – 66 to 100% of the time Frequent – 33 to 65% of the time Occasional – 0 to 32% of the time Central Supply Tech II The Central Supply Technician II performs the same duties as the Tech I, issuing and delivering all medical supplies and equipment, and maintaining set par‑levels throughout the hospital. Licensure And Certification Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) Certification required. Experience 1 year of central service or materials management experience.
