Job Title: Yard Worker
Job Description

As a Yard Worker, you will play a critical role in assisting customers with loading and unloading steel to and from the yard. Your duties will include stock allocation and inventory management, aiding in the removal of steel from trailers after a wreck, performing light data entry, and handling physical tasks that require lifting up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with loading and unloading steel in the yard.
• Manage stock allocation and maintain inventory records.
• Help remove steel from trailers following wrecks.
• Perform light data entry tasks.
• Handle lifting tasks up to 70 lbs.

• Forklift operation with at least 1 year of experience.
• Material handling expertise.
• Experience in loading trucks.
• General labor skills.
• Yard work proficiency.

• 4+ years of work history at 2 or fewer companies.

Work Environment

Work in a steel holding warehouse and outdoor yard environment. Be prepared for extreme heat conditions while loading trucks and performing various yard tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bozeman, MT.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
