Pay: $17-$18
Schedule: 3rd Shift, 6:45 PM 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | 2/2/3 Rotating Schedule
Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our production team. This position is ideal for candidates who have proven forklift experience and are looking for a stable schedule with every other weekend off. The successful candidate will safely transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to transport raw materials, pallets, and finished goods throughout the facility
- Load and unload trailers efficiently while maintaining product integrity
- Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products for shipping
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate movement of inventory while following warehouse procedures
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift
- Ability to safely operate forklifts in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Comfortable working 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work a 2/2/3 rotating schedule, including every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required)
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse inventory systems is a plus
