Assistant General Manager

Candlewood Suites - Louisville Fair/Expo is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support the overall operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring excellent guest experiences, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of service and efficiency. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring seamless guest service. Manage and train staff to maintain a professional and efficient work environment. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and courteously. Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety standards are met. Support the planning and execution of marketing and promotional activities to maximize hotel occupancy. Monitor financial performance, assist in budgeting processes, and help control operational costs. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations. Requirements Previous experience in hotel management or a related hospitality role. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
