Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Telemetry, Night ShiftThis is a 13-week contract position.12-Hour Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, weekends and holidays as needed.We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 33-bed med-surg floor specializing in telemetry. The unit features 16 telemetry monitors, and we strive to maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1. You will care for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic patients (total knees and hips), bariatric patients (gastric sleeves and gastrectomies), as well as those with CHF, COPD, TIAs, and cardiac cath patients requiring intervention.Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and interpret monitor strips.Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.Active BLS certification; ACLS preferred but not required.Valid nursing license in the state of practice.Previous experience in a med-surg and telemetry setting preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
