Shifts: Nights 7PM - 7AM


Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Unit for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

• Obtain and record initial patient assessments and establish priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
• Conduct systematic re-assessments to identify progress and trends that require intervention
• Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care within the Nursing Standards of Care timeframe
• Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on patient outcome evaluations and modify care plans accordingly
• Participate in patient and significant other health education and discharge planning
• Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs
• Evaluate the plan of care and perform various Point of Care testing procedures

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license required
• Current BLS certification from AHA required
• Current ACLS certification from AHA required
• Current NRP certification required
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
• Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served
• Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
