UCT is looking for a talented Analyst VI, IT Apps to join us in  Austin, TX!

We are seeking an experienced SAP R2R Functional Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will design, configure, and support core financial and controlling processes within our SAP S/4HANA environment. You will work directly with finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust system solutions, streamline the period-end close, and optimize our end-to-end Record-to-Report lifecycle.  

Key Responsibilities  

• Solution Design & Configuration: Configure and maintain SAP Finance module (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting) supporting the R2R value stream.
• Process Optimization: Support period-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring accurate reconciliations and journal entries.
• Requirement Gathering: Partner with finance and accounting teams to analyze business needs and translate them into functional specifications and technical blueprints.
• Integration Management: Oversee cross-functional data flows between SAP FI/CO and integrated modules like MM (Procurement) and SD (Sales), as well as external systems via IDocs, APIs, or middleware.
• Compliance & Reporting: Support financial consolidations, intercompany eliminations, group reporting, and tax configurations.
• Testing & Support: Create test scripts, execute functional integration testing, support system upgrades, and provide post-go-live stabilization and user training.

  Required Qualifications  

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience with a primary focus on S/4HANA Finance and the R2R/RTR process lifecycle.
• Module Expertise: Deep knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
• Integration Knowledge: Proven understanding of how procurement (MM) and sales (SD) processes automatically post to financial accounting and general ledger balances.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with clear verbal and written communication abilities.

  Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills  

• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting, Central Finance (CFIN), or CO-PA / Margin Analysis.
• Familiarity with third-party tax tools (like Vertex or OneSource) and banking integrations.
