Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Fort Lauderdale, FL

This contract opportunity offers the chance to utilize both Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT skills in a facility dedicated to innovation and excellence. The initial assignment is 12 weeks, with the possibility of extension.


Schedule/Hours:

• Monday: 7:00am - 1:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:00am - 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
• Thursday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 6:00pm
  (Schedule may adjust based on site needs.)

• Demonstrated experience and certification in both PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine.
• Valid Florida State License CRT in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography.
• Certification: CNMT NMTCB (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist), CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist), NUC_Tech ARRT (Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine), RTCT ARRT (Registered Technologist in Computed Tomography), RTMR ARRT (Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging), RTR ARRT (Registered Technologist in Radiography).
• Graduate of an AMA Council on Education approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Registration with ARRT or NMTCB required; ARRT registration in one of the following: RT(R), RT(CT), or RT(MR).
• All relevant credentials and transcripts required for submission.

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Communicate results and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment.
