Coverage: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Call: None

Minimum Availability: 14 shifts per month preferred

Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient

EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities:

The physician will provide comprehensive gastroenterology services, including: Inpatient consultations and hospital-based GI care

Outpatient gastroenterology evaluations and follow-up

Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures

Management of gastrointestinal bleeding and other complex GI conditions

Opportunity to provide additional outpatient procedural coverage, if desired

Required Procedures:

Candidates should be experienced in performing: Upper GI endoscopy (EGD)

Colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy

ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic)

PEG placement

Esophageal dilation and manometry

Flexible sigmoidoscopy

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Liver biopsy

Small bowel biopsy

Management of GI bleeding and related therapeutic procedures

Support & Practice Environment:

You'll work alongside a collaborative clinical team that includes: Registered Nurses

Medical Assistants

PA/NP support

Dedicated office staff

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship

Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility

DEA required

Current ACLS and BLS certifications
