What we’re looking for:

• Valid Ohio certification to teach English as a Second Language
• Experience or aptitude for working with K-12 students in an ESL or general education capacity
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to support learners of varied backgrounds
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable traveling between school sites
• Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging ESL instruction across general education settings for K-12 students
• Travel to various buildings within the district to provide direct support and consultation
• Assess student progress and adjust interventions to maximize language acquisition
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure students' academic integration
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state guidelines
• Build positive relationships with students and families, encouraging ongoing engagement
