Stepdown RN

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Stepdown RN to join our healthcare team for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the stepdown unit.
• Monitor and manage patient vitals and conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from the facility.
