Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role requires adaptability to float to Medical-Surgical units and offers the chance to work in a vibrant medical environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

• Administer and monitor blood products and central lines
• Provide care for patients with feeding tubes
• Implement heparin and IV insulin protocols
• Manage high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive airway treatments
• Conduct phlebotomy and start IVs
• Monitor telemetry, dysrhythmias, and tracheostomy care
• Utilize PCA pumps and CADDS equipment

Requirements of the RN - PCU

• Valid NY RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
• Competency in EPIC charting system
• Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs
