As a Security Officer Front Desk in South Glens Falls, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as a Front Desk professional, where you will greet visitors, manage access, support badge and sign-in procedures, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This role offers the chance to be a trusted first point of contact while delivering outstanding service through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk post in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Greet employees, visitors, and vendors, verify identification and authorization, and help manage access to the facility in accordance with site protocols.
• Monitor the front desk area, visitor logs, phones, and/or entry activity, and report unusual, suspicious, or policy-related concerns to site leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations from the front desk with professionalism, clear communication, and attention to established procedures.
• Support day-to-day front desk operations by documenting activity, issuing visitor credentials, answering questions, and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
