Program Facilitator
$500 per monthPriority Dispatch
APTS is searching for a Program Facilitator. Monday - Friday, 7:30 am-3:30 pm.Employee’s duties include, but are not limited to:Support the Special Education Teacher in carrying out lesson plans/activities to help students reach their academic goals.Assist the student with the physical tasks such as using the restroom, hand washing, daily living, etc.Support students by carrying out behavioral strategies (Applied Behavior Analysis) to include:Proactive & Reactive StrategiesCrisis InterventionCollect behavioral data based on each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP)Assist with the transportation of students between school and home, door-to-door, and during community-based instruction.Establish and maintain appropriate interactions with students.Maintain a professional attitude and consistent respect towards the students.Job Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent - requiredOne year of experience with children (childcare/special needs) - PreferredORBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or a minimum of 4 years of active military duty - preferredAPTS prides itself in providing the best work environment for our staff members and we offer the following benefits:Competitive Salary120 Hours of PTO (Paid Time Off)Medical (Health, Individual & Dependent coverage), Dental, VisionBasic and Optional Life Insurance for Employee, Spouse and/or Dependents401k Plan: Company matches half of your contribution, up to 4% of your salaryProfessional Development Reimbursement up to $2,500 per school year for approved programs (CEU hours)Reimbursement for Fitness MembershipsTraining and development opportunities$1000 sign-on bonus$500 after 6 months, then $500 after a yearAPTS's level-up and Internal Training and Testing Pay increases within 2 years of employment are as follows:Tier 1- $500 increaseTier 2-$2000 increaseTier 3-$2500 increaseClick the link to learn more about this position: or any of its subsidiaries, does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
