Shift: Weekly Monday Orientations, 19:00 - 07:00

This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care. The role involves providing compassionate and effective patient care to both adult and geriatric populations in a collaborative team environment.

Position Information

Department: Med-Surg
Number of Openings: 6
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Yes

Qualifications

Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum Experience: 2 years in Medical-Surgical nursing
Required Education: Degree in nursing

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 18
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Equipment: Electronic Health Record system - Meditech
Supervisor: Charity Rutherford

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience in Medical-Surgical care
Ability to take ownership of patient care
Strong teamwork skills
Experience with common diagnoses and treatment plans in a Med-Surg setting

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Royal blue
