Administers medications,monitorspatient vital signs/EKG, performs continual patient assessment duringpatient’sstay in the Cardiology Department. Documentsaccuratenursing records and patient data. Coordinates patient teaching andpost procedureassessment. Performs emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation.Assistswithin serviceeducation. Collects and assembles data for data base, outcomeanalysisand performance improvement. Responsible to carry out any other activities assigned by the Cardiology Nurse Manager toassurethe department runs effectively and efficiently.
