Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC Duration: 6 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Must hold an active state RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS (must be through the American Heart Association) Must-Have: Vent/trach experience, LTAC experience in a hospital setting Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients. This is accomplished by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Client policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership is essential in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is required. Delegating patient care priorities is commensurate with the education and experience of the available staff. The Registered Nurse also provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
