PGD Plant Manager

Position Overview This position will report to a Regional Plant General Manager and will be responsible for driving best-in-class safety and environmental performance, overseeing all aspects of operations and maintenance to maximize plant reliability, and developing high-performance teams to support 24/7 operations. Dependent on candidate qualifications and business need, the successful candidate will be based out of one of our Florida power plants. The successful candidate shall manage all aspects of site business and operations, achieving production and business targets while maintaining an injury-free work site. Combined cycle power plant operations experience is required. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership in all aspects of operation and maintenance. Manage the technical performance of the plant. Develop and manage site budget. Lead the safety of the facility and personnel. Comply with all regulations and policies. Oversee personnel development and succession planning. Drive continuous improvement of performance. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school graduate or GED. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience in power plant operations. Supervisor/management experience of 5+ years. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience within power plant operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Six Sigma certification; Yellow Belt or higher.
