Title
Registered Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapy

Schedule
Night Shift. On call 1 shift every 2 weeks, weekend shifts varying.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- Required Montana Licensure (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist Certification (NBRC)
- American Heart Association BLS
- American Heart Association ACLS within 3 months of hire
- American Heart Association PALS within 3 months of hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 3 months of hire
- Preferred Certification in Neonatal-Pediatric Specialist (NBRC-NPS) and/or Adult Critical Care Specialist (NBRC-ACCS)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory care to patients across various ages, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Assess and monitor oxygen delivery systems and adapt treatment as necessary.
- Perform arterial punctures for blood gas analysis and manage mechanical ventilation.
- Document all relevant patient information in electronic health records accurately.
- Formulate and implement teaching plans to educate patients and their families about treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and enhance patient care.

Compliance / Notes
The facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances. Travelers must live at least 90 miles away from the facility to be considered.
