Business Development Manager

JM Hunter Group LLC

A growing construction company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to develop business within the Dallas/Fort Worth multifamily construction market. This role focuses on selling specialty construction services and building material solutions to developers, general contractors, and construction professionals.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling construction products, specialty building systems, or construction services into multifamily new construction projects .

Key Responsibilities:

Develop relationships with multifamily developers, general contractors, and project stakeholders
Identify upcoming multifamily construction projects and generate new business opportunities
Sell specialty construction solutions and building material systems
Manage the sales process from project identification through award
Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry

Ideal Background:

Outside sales experience in commercial or multifamily construction
Experience selling building materials, specialty products, or construction services
Existing relationships with multifamily developers and general contractors preferred
Strong business development and project sales experience
Ability to manage a territory and drive new business
Building materials sales
Waterproofing / building envelope
Flooring systems
Roofing systems
Concrete products
Construction services / subcontractor sales
Commercial construction sales

Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission, company car allowance, benefits, and growth opportunity.
