Accountant / Senior Accountant

Our client in Temple is looking for an Accountant who wants their work to matter. You'll keep the books accurate and the close on schedule, and give leadership numbers they can trust when making the decisions that shape the business.

Compensation

$60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience

What You'll Be Doing

Own month-end and year-end close tasks, including journal entries and accruals
Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
Maintain the general ledger and track down variances
Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
Support budgeting and forecasting with clean, reliable data
Assist with audit prep and tax filings
Spot process gaps and help tighten them

What You'll Need to be Considered

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years of accounting experience
Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
Manufacturing, healthcare, or distribution background a plus
ERP experience (NetSuite, Dynamics, Sage, or similar)
Working knowledge of GAAP
