Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its New Castle, Pennsylvania location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, with a Monday-Friday schedule plus rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient data accurately and process billing information
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain specimen logs
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
