Occupational Therapist - Travel Position

Schedule

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Job Description

This travel position is for an Occupational Therapist specializing in providing therapy to patients in inpatient rehab and acute care settings. The primary focus will be on rehabilitation for stroke and orthopedic patients, delivering intensive therapy sessions to prepare patients for discharge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct therapy interventions to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic processes and discharge plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Occupational Therapist license.
• Previous experience in inpatient rehab or acute care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
