Contract | 26 Weeks | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 Holiday Shifts Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly

Key Responsibilities

• Provide triage and emergency nursing care to patients experiencing acute illness, trauma, or medical emergencies requiring immediate attention
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care using electronic health record systems
• Administer and electronically record all medications delivered to patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a high-volume, Level 1 Trauma Center environment
• Deliver care across a large, state-of-the-art Emergency Department including fast-track, behavioral health, and private treatment areas

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Massachusetts
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume, academic, or teaching hospital emergency department
• Strong triage assessment skills in a fast-paced trauma environment
