Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse - Nights - The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the medical surgical unit. The role involves delivering independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. This position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to promote health and recovery.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Nights
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing); BLS (American Heart Association) certification; 0 years minimum experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications as appropriate for the unit or service
• Additional Information: Performs health data assessment, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, documentation, resource utilization, treatment plan monitoring, execution of medical functions, and patient referrals. May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications. May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
