From proactively preventing injuries to educating families and communities, you will have the opportunity to build a healthier, happier future for the people you care for./ph3Minimum Qualifications:/h3ulliAble to live-in for a minimum of 3 days/week working 13-16 hs./liliProof of current physical and TB testing./liliMust be physically able to perform the duties of this position./liliMust possess excellent communication skills./liliBe mature, caring, punctual, and reliable./liliPass a criminal background check./liliProvide verifiable professional and personal references./li/ulh3Essential Duties and Responsibilities:/h3ulliUnderstand a clients care plan and adequately implement it./liliAssist clients according to their care plan which may include: companionship, meal preparation and service, light housekeeping, transportation, shopping, medication reminders, bathing, body care, dressing, feeding, ambulation, positioning, transferring, toileting, and protective supervision./liliNotify the Care Manager of client concerns, changes in care or client condition and client emergencies./liliNotify the Care Manager and/or Staffing Coordinator of any safety concerns./liliFollow company Infection Control practices; notify the office if in need of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or supplies./liliUse the WellSky App Instructions to clock in and clock out for all scheduled shifts and accurately update your task status for each client prior to clocking out and leaving the clients home./liliConform to the company dress code and the no drug/alcohol use policy as specified in the Employee Handbook./liliReport to work on-time and ready for the day./liliComplete ongoing training as required by client care needs and/or changes in company policies and procedures./liliBe responsive to the Care Manager./liliAdhere to all company policies and procedures as detailed in the Employee Handbook./li/ulpOrganizational Relationship: The caregiver is supervised by the Care Manager and receives scheduling direction from the Staffing Coordinator./ppPhysical and Environmental Demands: Reposition and transfer clients, sustain weight of clients using proper transfer safety techniques and equipment (example: use of transfer belt while assisting client to transfer from bed to chair), and travel to clients residence place of residence using a reliable means of transportation./ppFlexibility: We understand how difficult it can be to find a job that balances life and work.
