Agile Transformation Lead / Scrum Master Lead Long-term Contract: Hybrid in Washington, DC area Compensation: ~80-100/hr (Range is flexible depending on experience and skillset) Overview Brooksource is seeking an Agile Transformation Lead / Scrum Master Lead to support a large-scale federal technology modernization initiative in the Washington, DC area. This individual will operate in a highly collaborative, enterprise Agile environment supporting multiple cross-functional teams responsible for mission-critical applications and modernization efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in large-scale Agile environments and enjoys coordinating across multiple teams, stakeholders, and workstreams to help drive alignment, delivery execution, and continuous improvement. The position sits at more of a program-level Agile leadership capacity rather than a traditional single-team Scrum Master role. The Agile Transformation Lead will help drive Agile consistency and coordination across a broad portfolio of ongoing modernization, enhancement, and operational initiatives while partnering closely with technical leadership, delivery teams, and stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead and facilitate program-level Agile ceremonies across multiple concurrent Agile teams Support cross-team coordination, dependency management, and delivery alignment across large-scale initiatives Partner with technical and business stakeholders to help drive delivery execution and Agile best practices Facilitate PI Planning sessions, retrospectives, roadmap discussions, and Agile reporting activities Mentor and support Scrum Masters and Agile team members across the program environment Help establish and maintain Agile delivery standards, metrics, and governance processesli> Track and communicate Agile delivery health, risks, blockers, and progress to leadership teams Foster collaboration and communication across distributed technical teams and stakeholders Support modernization initiatives spanning cloud environments, application enhancements, and operational support activities Qualifications Required 8+ years of experience supporting Agile delivery environments Experience coordinating across multiple Agile teams within enterprise-scale programs Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and scaled Agile environments Experience facilitating program-level ceremonies and cross-functional coordination efforts Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working with Agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification Active Public Trust Clearance Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field Preferred Experience supporting SAFe or enterprise Agile transformation environments Exposure to cloud modernization or DevOps-focused delivery environments Experience supporting federal or highly regulated enterprise environments Experience with Agile metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives Strong facilitation, coaching, and cross-functional leadership abilities Long-term modernization and operational support initiatives Collaborative, stakeholder-heavy culture focused on communication and teamwork #J-18808-Ljbffr Brooksource
