Knight Transportation is Hiring! We are urgently hiring experienced diesel mechanics to join our team in Las Vegas. If you are hardworking and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you! Location: 4570 Berg St, North Las Vegas, NV 89081 Pay: $23 - $38 Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (1 hr. lunch) Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience
- Valid drivers license
- Comprehensive background check
- Pre-employment hair drug screen (marijuana is a disqualification of employment)

Additional qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- Experience with on-the-job training
- Diploma in vehicle maintenance from vocational or trade school a plus
- Possess customer service & computer skills
- Ability to read & understand repair manuals
- Ability to multitask & work as a team
- Must possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results required
Mechanic responsibilities:
- Repair heavy truck & trailer (semi-class 8)
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, HVAC, and electrical diagnosing
- Perform minor to complex repairs for all types of equipment
- Perform tire maintenance and repairs
- May be required to test drive equipment if CDL certified
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain a positive & proactive work environment.
