Fire Engineer
Pine Level Fire Department
The Fire Engineer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and readiness of fire department apparatus, equipment, and related systems. This position performs skilled firefighting, emergency medical response, rescue operations, and other emergency services while serving as the primary driver/operator of assigned fire apparatus.
The Fire Engineer is expected to demonstrate technical proficiency, sound judgment, leadership, professionalism, and a strong commitment to firefighter safety and public service.
The Fire Engineer works under the direction of the assigned Company Officer and may be required to assume additional operational responsibilities as directed by the Fire Chief.
