Position Summary JM Huber is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Active Minerals International, a Kaolin Clay processing facility in Aiken SC. Maintenance Technician: Responsible for performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and facility systems. Apply technical knowledge, experience, and sound judgment to ensure equipment reliability, safety, quality, and operational efficiency while supporting the achievement of facility goals and objectives. Bonus yearly 401k company contribution of 5%; 5-year vesting schedule mybenefits.huber.com Entry Rate: $26.07 - $33.46 with increases based on demonstrations of skills Principal Duties & Responsibilities Perform emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility assets. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control system issues and implement effective repairs. Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and work orders. Diagnose equipment failures, replace or repair components, test equipment functionality, and make operational adjustments as necessary. Identify and report equipment deficiencies, unsafe conditions, and unusual operating situations to management. Maintain accurate maintenance records and document parts usage to support inventory control and replenishment activities. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to manage work orders and maintenance activities. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Conduct workplace inspections and promptly address or report safety hazards. Ensure machine guarding and safety devices are properly installed following maintenance activities. Follow all applicable Quality Management System (QMS), ISO, safety, environmental, and company policies and procedures. Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to maintenance team members as needed. Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the position. Perform other duties as assigned. Specialized/Technical Knowledge Or Required Skills Four or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred High school diploma or GED required. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial production equipment. Proficiency with CMMS and standard computer applications. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ability to complete assignments from planning through execution with minimal supervision.
