Location: Camp Springs, MD

Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (one weekday off when working Saturday)

Work Environment: Fully onsite

Salary: $50,000-$55,000 annually

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a well-established organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who enjoys balancing operational management, customer service, administrative responsibilities, and team oversight in a dynamic environment.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the site leader to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and will assume leadership responsibilities in the manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily site operations and business activities.
• Oversee operations in the absence of the Manager.
• Support staff supervision and day-to-day workflow management.
• Coordinate and direct daily service-related activities.
• Present and sell products and services to customers as needed.
• Perform administrative, operational, and supervisory duties.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients and visitors.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed.
• Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated management, leadership, or supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to professionally interact with clients, employees, and community members.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Ability to perform frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer systems.
