SAFETY MANAGER | AIRPORT CONSTRUCTIONSeattle, WA | $56-$60/HR | 2-Year Project | Night ShiftReady to take the lead on a major, long-term airport construction project?We're seeking an experienced Safety Manager to provide hands-on field safety leadership during the installation of a new airport conveyor system in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident safety professional who thrives in high-visibility, fast-moving construction environments and knows how to build trust with field crews while holding firm safety standards.PROJECT DETAILSStart Date: September 28, 2026Location: Seattle, WashingtonPosition: Safety ManagerEmployment Type: 1099 Independent ContractorProject Duration: Approximately 2 yearsPay Rate: $56-$60 per hourPer Diem: Not availableSchedule: Monday-Thursday, four 10-hour night shiftsAdditional Hours: Weekends as project conditions requireWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGProvide visible, hands-on safety leadership throughout active airport construction operations.Perform daily jobsite inspections and immediately address unsafe conditions or behaviors.Conduct safety orientations for employees, contractors, and other project personnel.Oversee safety activities associated with the installation of a new airport conveyor system.Monitor work areas for compliance with OSHA requirements and site-specific safety procedures.Partner with project leadership, supervisors, and field crews to maintain a proactive safety culture.Support hazard identification, corrective-action follow-up, and daily safety documentation.Help keep demanding nighttime construction activities safe, organized, and compliant.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSOSHA 30 certificationAt least five years of construction safety experienceExperience conducting field inspections and safety orientationsStrong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite hazard controlsAbility to confidently communicate with project leadership and field personnelWillingness and availability to work night shifts and weekends as neededAbility to maintain a consistent, highly visible presence in the fieldWHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUTLong-term stability: Two-year projectPremium hourly rate: $56-$60 per hourCompressed schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through ThursdayMajor construction environment: High-profile airport infrastructure workMeaningful responsibility: Direct involvement in protecting crews and supporting successful project executionIf you're an experienced Safety Manager who can command the field, connect with crews, and keep complex nighttime construction operations moving safely, we want to hear from you.Apply today for immediate consideration.
