As a member of the Patient Care Services team, Clinical Assistants support in patient care and coordinate administrative functions of assigned patient care areas and facilitate patient flow throughout the departments.3 East is a 30-bed adult med/surg unit serving patients with orthopedic, neurosurgical, general medicine, and general surgical needs.3 West is a 22-bed adult med/surg unit caring for patients with general medicine, vascular, GI, bariatric, urology, women's health, oncology (including chemotherapy administration), and palliative care needs.4 East is a 31-bed adult med/surg telemetry unit serving patients with cardiac conditions, post-cardiac catheterization recovery, stroke, pulmonary embolism, diabetic and endocrine disorders, neurological conditions, and renal disorders.4 West is a 22-bed adult med/surg telemetry unit caring for patients with stroke, sepsis, diabetes, wound care needs, renal failure (including continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis), and COPD.ADL's and patient care assistanceMaintain a safe patient care environmentPrepare and maintain patient records with appropriate data elementsCollect and document basic patient care information as delegatedCompleted LNA program & active licensure in the state of NHBasic medical terminology.Previous EMR experience a plus.Southern NH Medical Center is a 5-time Magnet-designated hospital.Comprehensive health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time and part-time employees.Competitive pay with opportunities for career growth.Tuition and certification reimbursementNursing Student Loan Paydown Program403(b) Retirement Savings Plan.Education support and paid training programs to support continued professional development.Work Shift:All Shifts available; Weekend Rotations & Holiday rotationsFull Time: 30-40 hoursPart Time: 20-29 hoursPer Diem: 16 hours Minimum per monthSolutionHealth is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
