Senior Property Accountant

What You'll Do

• Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages.
• Handle month-end close, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
• Complete bank reconciliations and review financial activity for accuracy.
• Oversee AP, AR, cash receipts, tenant billings, and daily cash activity.
• Prepare and review CAM and real estate tax reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasting, financial analysis, and special projects.
• Work closely with property managers, ownership teams, and vendors to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience with commercial real estate or property accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with CAM reconciliations, real estate tax reconciliations, and property-level financial statements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines.
